Dear friends,
I am a retired Engineering Professional and led several engineering companies from the top level of CEO, President & Executive Director. My wife is the Founder Principal of DAV Schools. Both of us now teach underprivileged children at the primary level.
We taught a boy for one year and could get him admitted to a reputed regular private school in class III last year and made us proud by coming first in the class while getting promoted to class IV. This year also he got promoted to class V by coming third in the class. Luckily for this boy, the school made him a free student and all his expenses are borne by the school. But this is very rare.
In general, the schools need financial supports. There are some very good students who can get admitted to good regular schools. The schools have agreed to admit them provided their school fees are fully supported. Some schools have agreed to waive admission charges and development fees and supply the books free of charge. But other fees & expenses have to be supported by any benevolent individual or company under ‘Corporate Social Responsibility’. The cost of support will be between Rs. 7000/- to 8000/- per month (84,000/- to Rs. 96,000/- per year) per student.
If any company or an individual wants to come forward to help these poor kids, please get in touch with me over email or mobile. I can then share more details. The new session has started from 2nd of April and an early response will be very much appreciated.
Friends, I am not looking for comments like ‘Good work’, ‘Noble work’, ‘Excellent’ etc. Only individuals or companies who want to genuinely help, should respond to this appeal and contact me.
Best regards,
Arun Kumar Roy
